'Ramp' constructed for differently abled persons was inaugurated by Dr. N. S. Rathore, DDG (Ag. Edn)

Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Deputy Director General (Ag. Education), ICAR, New Delhi visited ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar on 6th November 2018 and inagurated the 'Ramp' constructed at the entrance of main building for differently abled persons.Hon'ble DDG, ICAR also reviewed research progress of the institute. All the Scientific, Technical and Administrative Staff were attended the meeting. At the outset, Dr. S. K. Srivastava, Director welcomed Hon'ble DDG and other participants to the meeting. He thanked DDG for his continued support to ICAR-CIWA by way of providing his valuable inputs and guidance for development of the Institute. While interacting with staff, Dr. Rathore advised the Scientists to focus on research priorities keeping in mind the welfare of farm women. He stressed on integrated farming system approach for doubling the farmer's income and advised the CIWA Scientists to demonstrate the same in the farmers field. He also emphasized that ICAR-CIWA should focused on Entrepreneurship development. The newly nominated In-charge Heads of the Divisions presented their future plan of action which was critically reviewed by the DDG, who offered valuable and constructive suggestions for increasing the visibility of the Institute. .
