Training program on 'Gender Sensitization of Extension Functionaries for Engendering Agriculture' for 43 block level functionaries of 27 districts of Odisha  (26-28 June, 2018)

This particular training has been proposed to conduct in four batches in four spell for 200 block level functionaries of Odisha viz. 26-28 June, 2018, 03-05 July, 2018, 10-12 July, 2018 and 17-19 July, 2018, wherein participants from 30 districts of Odisha will be attending. The aim of this programme is gender sensitization of extension functionaries working under ATMA scheme in the state and also addressing various issues related to women in agriculture at farm level. Based on feedback/ suggestions of the trainees and impact on their functioning, recommendations will be made to make the block level extension functionaries gender sensitive. Three days training on 'Gender Sensitization of Extension Functionaries for Engendering Agriculture' for extension functionaries working under ATMA scheme is being organized under the project 'Gender Sensitization for Engendering Agriculture Research and Extension' at ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar from 26-28 June, 2018. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. S. K. Srivastava, Director, ICAR-CIWA. Training programme was conducted with a team of scientists and technicals including Dr. Sabita Mishra, Dr. Ananta Sarkar, Dr. L.P. Sahoo, Ms. Gayatri Moharana and Er. Subrat Ku. Das.
