A power purchase agreement was signed between ICAR- Central Institute for Women in Agriculture and RMS green affiliates LLP for "Design, Manufacture, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning including Warranty, Operation & Maintenance of 150 kWp Grid Connected Roof-top Solar Photovoltaic Plants in RESCO Model", on 9th February, 2018. This initiative will help ICAR-CIWA to achieve the vision of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India to upscale and mainstream the use of new and renewable energy sources in furtherance of the national aim of energy security and energy independence. This initiative will help the institute get power at a lower rate besides promoting the green energy in the country. ICAR-CIWA was represented by the Director, Dr. S K Srivastava and the Works and Estate committee of the institute, while the RMS green affiliates was represented by Mr. Jitender Jha and Mr. Hitesh Pani.
